Our building itself, constructed in the 1950's, has enjoyed a rich history of local eateries, from the casual to the more elegant, and it is our hope that your dining experience at our restaurant becomes "history making" as well.

The Iron Lantern Restaurant serves lunch 5 days a week, from 11am - 2pm (closed Sunday and Tuesday). We serve dinner 6 days a week, from 5pm - 9pm (closed Tuesday). We are conveniently located in Castleton, Vermont, minutes from Castleton State College, and a short drive from Rutland, Killington, Fair Haven, and Lake Bomoseen. (click here for directions).
